At Armormax, we’re unapologetically positive about South Africa. Recently, we had two opportunities to do just that.
S Group Business Networking Event
We co-sponsored and facilitated the annual S Group Business Networking Event, which brought together 30 senior executives and business leaders for a day that was as thought-provoking as it was memorable.
Our MD, Grant Anderson, opened with a presentation about why we do what we do at Armormax- protecting lives so people can live without restriction. From there, it was “range is hot” at Waterfall Arms as Grant demonstrated the stopping power of our ballistic materials with high-calibre rifles.
Guests didn’t just watch- they experienced it for themselves. Equipped with ear and eye protection, they stepped up to the firing line with an AR15 and an AK47 under the guidance of a Range Officer. Beyond the thrill, this exercise gave them a tangible understanding of the threats we engineer against every day. It’s a reminder of the critical role our innovation plays in ensuring safety, and why the investment of time, effort, and cost is so necessary.
The day continued with a fireside chat at The Codfather that proved equally impactful. The panel featured a globally recognised sports psychologist, a former US Marine now leading rescue missions worldwide, and a US Navy SEAL veteran turned business professional. Their stories of unpredictability, preparation, turmoil, and triumph resonated with everyone in the room. The lessons drawn from battlefields and sports fields- about resilience, leadership, and readiness under fire- are the same principles we bring to our craft at Armormax.
Women With Drive – ARRIVE
The second event we supported was the 9th annual MasterDrive ‘Women With Drive’ seminar. This year’s theme, Women With Drive – ARRIVE, celebrated the moment when hard work meets opportunity, when dreams become reality, and when women step confidently into their destined spaces.
The concept of “arrival”- thriving authentically, breaking barriers, and reaching milestones in industries traditionally dominated by men- resonates strongly with us. At Armormax, we believe in creating environments where people can live boldly and without limitation, and we are proud to stand behind women who embody that same courage and determination.
Speakers and panellists shared invaluable insights from their own journeys to success, offering a blueprint for leadership and achievement that inspired all in attendance.

Whether at a shooting range with business leaders or in a seminar hall celebrating women in leadership, these events reminded us of a simple truth: resilience, courage, and preparation are the foundation for living life to the fullest.
